About this website
We moved to Brogo on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, Australia, in 1982.
Since that time the land, part of a former dairy farm, has been transformed into a garden containing flowers, plants and trees of considerable beauty.
Some of the flora is displayed in the following pages, together with views of the surrounding area as seen from our garden.
Some of the animals and wildlife which share their lives with us are also shown.
This is not an academic site , and should not be used for reference purposes.
It has simply been created for people who love beauty in nature to enjoy at their leisure .
The photos have been taken with a simple camera by an amateur photographer.
(amateur camera by a simple photographer?)
Also the pictures do not show prize winning standards of specimens.
Instead , they are a record of the variety of plants which has been grown here during the past three decades, with any of their imperfections.
The plant specimens are grouped in a rough alphabetical order.
Their popular or common names are used, and there's no guarantee they have been correctly identified.
Most pictures will enlarge when clicked on.
